It feels like the end of a friendship is often almost worse than the end of a romantic relationship. This song is about fading friendships and growing apart as you’re growing up. Suddenly you’re all adults adulting and never have time to see your friends. Where did they all go? We still have those beautiful memories left and hopefully, when we meet again, we can enjoy them and reminisce together. However, we learn as we grow that some friends are for a season. (As one of my wisest, oldest friends once told me.)
