This is my first "spoken word" song, which is quite deep and poetic compared to my other songs - but it can be interpreted in different ways, and for me this song is about self-praise/recognition, as perhaps the title reveals. It’s also like an ode to my amazing trio members, Severi and Johannes, as they get to improvise freely throughout the whole song!

I've built my temple out of broken pillars
I look at the rest of the world through tinted glass
My feet covered in soil, my head above the clouds

Crows pecking at my sapphire diadem
I walk proudly through the crowd of bystanders
As they turn their mirrors towards me

At the tip of my tongue are the sacred words
I bow before no one
My armor reflects the gaze of narrow minds

At the top of my lungs I recite
My ode to the Self
